HOLLY SPRINGS, NC – The Holly Springs Salamanders have announced their schedule for the 2021 summer season. Opening Night at Ting Stadium is scheduled for Friday, May 28 against the Tri-City Chili Peppers!

The Salamanders will start the summer with two pre-season exhibition games on May 22 and 23. The regular season will kick off on Thursday, May 27 and run through July 31, with the Petitt Cup Playoffs scheduled to begin on August 1. The Holly Springs Salamanders will be playing their traditional Coastal Plain League home schedule, as well as a handful of additional contests.

“We are excited to finally announce the 2021 Schedule after losing the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Chip Hutchinson, General Manager of the Holly Springs Salamanders. “I know the fans in Holly Springs and surrounding communities are as excited as I am to bring baseball back to Wake County and Ting Stadium, and we look forward to welcoming them back to the ballpark in 2021!”

The Coastal Plain League will have a four-division structure in 2021, with four teams in the South, East and West Divisions, and three teams in the North. The Salamanders will remain in the East Division, along with the Florence Red Wolves, Morehead City Marlins and Wilmington Sharks.
