HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C.- The Salamanders took a victory over the South Wake Shakes tonight in an exhibition game at Ting Stadium, 15-5.

Holly Springs (9-11), took an early lead in the bottom of the first after six runs brought in by Mika Petersen (Brown), Gavin Troutman (Lock Haven), Andrew Grande (Waters State CC), Ryan Picollo (St. Joseph’s), Nolan Watson (Dayton), and Ben Lumsden (West Virginia). The Shakes could not keep up with the Salamanders momentum and the Salamanders took a win, 15-5.

The win tonight for Holly Springs will not contribute to their record as tonight was an exhibition game.

The Salamanders will travel to Boone on Tuesday, June 27 to face the Bigfoots and Asheboro on Thursday, June 29. Both are set for 7:00 p.m. first pitch.
