HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C.- The Salamanders went 2-0 on Saturday night against the Wilmington Sharks in their double header at Ting Stadium.

Carlos Pena (Missouri) hit a two run homer which clinched Holly Springs’ (18-16) first win of the night. Leo Giannoni earned the win for the Salamanders pitching two innings allowing no hits or runs and striking out three.

In the second game, Henry Koehler (Davidson) hit a triple to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh and put the winning run on third. A walk off RBI single from Braden Durham (Seton Hill) secured the Salamanders’ second win of the night.

Holly Springs will be back at Ting Stadium on Sunday night to face the Wilson Tobs with a 5:40 p.m. first pitch.
