'Manders Headed to Macon

HOLLY SPRINGS, NC The Holly Spring Salamanders are sending five players to the 2025 Coastal Plain League (CPL) All-Star game this season. This year’s game will take place at Luther William Field on July 6 and 7.   

 

All-Star Players

Trenton Lyons | Memphis, Tenn. | Senior | Kennesaw State 

Anthony Mitta | Raleigh, N.C. | RS-Junior | Mount Olive 

Andrew Keller | Fuquay-Varina, N.C | Freshman | Campbell 

 

Stats 

AJ Campbell currently has a 3.96 ERA in five game appearances so far this season. In 25 innings, he has tallied up 25 strikeouts.  

One of the ‘Manders other starters, Matthew Driver, currently has a 1.83 ERA in four games so far this season. He has only given up 4 runs in 19.2 innings.  

 

Trenton Lyons is usually a regular for leadoff spot for the Salamanders. Splitting time between the outfield and at designated hitter,  he currently has a .343 batting average. He is fifth in the league with four homeruns this season. In 17 games Lyons has tacked on 23 hits and 12 RBIs.   

Second baseman Anthony Mitta boasts a .349 batting average. He is fifth in the league in stolen bases with 14 in just 19 game appearances.  

Catcher Andrew Keller is a relatively new addition to the Salamanders. In his 17 game appearances he has achieved a .318 batting average. He is second on the team with 14 RBIs.
