HOLLY SPRINGS, NC – The Holly Springs Salamanders have announced the team’s promotional schedule for the 2019 season. The 26-game home schedule features a promotion for every home game, including fan-favorites Star Wars Night, Christmas in July and Sal’s Birthday.

The 2019 home slate kicks off with Opening Day presented by Black Dog Bottle Shop on June 1 when the Salamanders take on the Morehead City Marlins. Then one week later on June 8 the team hosts its annual Star Wars Night, as the team will wear specially-designed jerseys and feature character appearances from humans and creatures from a galaxy far, far away.

The Salamanders will host three Bark in the Park events over the summer on June 13, July 11 and August 1 presented by Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospital, as fans can bring their furry friends to Ting Park to take in the contest. On June 15 the team will host a What Could Have Been Night when they become the Holly Springs Hushpuppies, as the Hushpuppies was one of the team name finalists when the franchise was founded prior to the 2015 season.

On July 13th Ting Park will host Christmas in July presented by Just Call Brenda, as Santa will be in attendance and the stadium will be decorated in the spirit of Christmas. Then on July 21 team mascot Sal will host his birthday party presented by the NC Turnpike Authority, as mascots from all around the region will be in attendance to celebrate. The home schedule ends on August 3 with a Fan Appreciation game presented by Carolina Family Vision.

On July 16th the Salamanders will host their first ever Education Day game at 10:30 AM.  The Salamanders encourage local summer camps and year-round schools to take part in an educational experience built around baseball.
